VE Day 50th Anniversary Memorial Plaque

This memorial is dedicated to the 50th anniversary of VE Day, May 8, 1945. It was erected by the Royal Canadian Legions of Cape Breton and the Cape Breton Post Newspaper and donations by citizens.

Ce mémorial marque le 50e anniversaire de la Victoire en Europe, le 8 mai 1945. Il a été érigé grâce aux efforts des filiales de la Légion royale canadienne au Cap-Breton et du journal Cape Breton Post, ainsi qu’aux contributions des citoyens.
