Saint George Window

All four of the shield stained glass windows, located outside the entrance to the Memorial Chamber, were designed by Frank Hollister and constructed by Cowan & Hollister in 1928.

This window has a white shield with red cross symbolizing Saint George, the patron saint of England, complemented with helmet and folded ribbon.

Les quatre vitraux en forme de bouclier situés à l’extérieur de l’entrée de la Chapelle du Souvenir ont été conçus par Frank Hollister et construits par Cowan & Hollister en 1928.

Ce vitrail comporte un bouclier blanc et une croix rouge symbolisant Saint-Georges, le saint patron de l’Angleterre. S’y ajoutent un casque et un ruban plié.
