Québec Seminary

The Quebec Seminary was established by Mgr. de Laval, 26th March , and approved by the King in April, 1663. In October, 1668, Mgr. de Laval established a small seminary and the University of Laval was the outcome in 1852. The Seminary of Quebec is the oldest educational house for boys, in Canada.

Le Séminaire de Québec fut établi par Mgr de Laval le 26 mars et autorisé par le roi ent avril 1663. Le 9 octobre 1668, Mgr de Laval ouvrit un petit séminaire d’où est sortie l’Université Laval en 1852. Le Séminaire de Québec est la plus ancienne maison d’éducation pour les garçons, su Canada.
