Prince Albert – Red Deer Forks Trail

Probably in use as early as 1800 as an overland link between posts on the North Saskatchewan and Red Deer Forks on the South Saskatchewan, by the mid-19th century Metis hunting parties frequented this trail. Later it served the local needs of early settlers and North West Mounted Police patrols until superseded by branch railways and surveyed road allowances.

Piste Prince Albert – Red Deer Forks
