Lindsay Church
St. Paul’s Anglican Church is often called Lindsay Church in honour of the first clergyman who came from Lindsay Ontario. In 1883, descendants of Selkirk settlers from Manitoba founded the congregation and the next year they built this log church the third oldest Anglican Church in Saskatchewan. In 1885, the church was consecrated, and during the rebellion that year it served as a meeting place for local residents. Later in the 1880’s, Mr. Peter Sinclair brought this steam locomotive bell from Winnipeg to call the faithful to worship.
