The original monument was located at the Hartland High School. The school closed and was replaced by a new community school at a new location.

Monument de guerre Hartland
Le monument original était situé à l’école secondaire Hartland. L’école a fermé ses portes et a été remplacée par une école communautaire à un nouvel emplacement.

Le monument a été déplacé au nouvel endroit une fois l’école construite. Seul l’emplacement de ce monument a changé et il offre une vue panoramique de la vallée de la rivière Saint-Jean.
