Fort Pelly Trail
The trail between Fort Pelly and the Upper Shell River country in Manitoba crossed near this site. Developed in the early 19th century by Indians trading at Fort Pelly, it later served surveyors, loggers and local settlers. A northern branch of the trail connected Fort Pelly with Madge Lake.

Piste Fort Pelly
La piste entre Fort Pelly et la région de la haute rivière Shell, au Manitoba, traversait près de ce site. Aménagée au début du XIXe siècle par les Indiens qui faisaient du commerce à Fort Pelly, elle a ensuite servi aux arpenteurs, aux bûcherons et aux colons de la région. Un embranchement nord de la piste reliait Fort Pelly au lac Madge.
