Fort Alexandria

One of many fur trade posts competing in this area, Fort Alexandria of the North West Company was built by Pierre Falcon in 1795 on the South bank of the Assiniboine River. Daniel Harmon spent the years there from 1800 until its closing in 1805. The post was again operated from 1807 until the union of the companies in 1821.

Fort Alexandria
