Dieppe Memorial

Erected by the Royal Canadian Legion, this memorial is dedicated to the veterans of the 19 August 1942 raid on Dieppe. Its first location was at the Port Hope Legion ground, and the memorial was later moved to the City Hall lawn.

Monument commémoratif du raid de Dieppe

Érigé par la Légion royale canadienne, ce mémorial est dédié aux anciens combattants du raid de Dieppe le 19 août 1942. Son premier emplacement fut sur le terrain de la Légion de Port Hope, mais le mémorial fut ensuite déplacé sur le terrain devant, à l’hôtel de ville.
