Colonel Keane Drive

This memorial is dedicated to Col. Keane D.S.O. It was erected by the Lake Superior Regiment (Motor) and the City of Thunder Bay.

THIS IS A BOULEVARD THAT WINDS IT’S WAY THROUGH HILLCREST PARK. IT IS LOCATED AT
ONE OF THE HIGHEST GEOGRAPHICAL POINTS IN THUNDER BAY AND OVER LOOKS THE VAST
MAJORITY OF THE CITY. MANY VISITORS AND LOCAL RESIDENTS ALIKE WALK OR SLOWLY
DRIVE THROUGH THIS VERY SCENIC PARK TAKING IN THE BREATH STOPPING VIEW OF THE
SLEEPING GIANT AND THE MANY HISTORICAL PLAQUES, MONUMENTS AND FLOWER GARDENS
PLACED THROUGH OUT THE PARK.
