Le Bear Creek Compound, atélier de réparations Cat, bâtiment no 8 fait face à la grande cour dégagée d’un établissement historique d’exploitation des placers, désormais désaffecté, dans la vallée de la rivière Klondike. Il s’agit d’une structure à charpente de bois en forme de T revêtue d’un parement horizontal en bois et coiffée d’un toit à deux versants à couverture métallique complété par un ventilateur de faîte aussi terminé par toit à deux versants. Le pignon avant du bâtiment comporte une seule paire de grandes portes pour l’équipement faites de planches en diagonale avec de grandes charnières en fer à cheval. La désignation se limite au tracé au sol du bâtiment.
