Honour Roll (paper on cardboard backing) – Whitby
This memorial is dedicated to the men of Dunlop Tire who served in the Second World War. It was erected by Dunlop Tire and Rubber Goods Company of Toronto, Ontario.
This memorial was taken to Whitby in 1961 when Dunlop Tire moved its head office from Toronto. The factory moved to Whitby in 1955. It was given to the Town of Whitby Archives after the plant closed in 1980.

Ce mémorial érigé par la Dunlop Tire and Rubber Goods Company de Toronto (Ontario) est dédié aux employés de l’entreprise qui ont combattu pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Il a été apporté à Whitby en 1961, lorsque la Dunlop Tire a déménagé son siège social de Toronto à Whitby, où elle avait installé son usine en 1955. Il a été remis aux archives municipales de Whitby après la fermeture de l’usine, en 1980.
