34 Royal Air Force Service Flying Training School Memorial

This memorial is dedicated to the 34 Royal Air Force Service Flying Training School and to the citizens of Medicine Hat for their hospitality. It was erected by the No. 34 Service Flying Training School Association Members and families, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 17 and private donors. The site was provided by the City of Medicine Hat.

THE SCHOOL WAS AWARDED THE
PRESTIGIOUS “E” PENNANT FOR
EFFICIENCY IN TRAINING MANY
PILOTS FOR ALLIED AIR FORCES IN
WORLD WAR II.
APPRECIATION IS EXPRESSED TO
MEDICINE HAT AND ITS RESIDENTS
FOR THE COOPERATION AND WARM
HOSPITALITY SHOWN TO ALL

Ce mémorial dédié à l’école de pilotage militaire no 34 de la Royal Air Force a été érigé par les membres de l’association de l’école et leurs familles, la filiale no 17 de la Légion royale canadienne et des donateurs privés afin de remercier les citoyens de Medicine Hat de leur hospitalité. Le terrain a été fourni par la Ville de Medicine Hat.
