Sacred to the memory of Naaman Joseph Payne PTE. of
the 1st N.F.L.D. Regiment Born May 23, 1897. Reported missing
April 13, 1918, Buried at Bailleul France.
He gave his life for his country. Greater Love hath no man
than this, that a man Lay Down his life for his friends.
