John Askey Quick Memorial
This memorial is dedicated to the memory of John Askey Quick, a member of the Royal Canadian Air Force and the first local serviceman to be killed during the Second World War. The Memorial was originally placed in a forest area, which is currently overgrown. A new site for the Memorial will be chosen.

Ce mémorial est dédié à la mémoire de John Askey Quick, membre de l’Aviation royale du Canada et premier militaire de la région à perdre la vie au combat durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il a été érigé dans une forêt qui est aujourd’hui envahie par les broussailles. Un nouvel emplacement sera choisi.
