Assiniboia Cenotaph
This memorial was originally erected in 1921 in a different location. As originally constructed, there was a statue of a soldier on the front shaft and the bowls were much more ornately sculpted. A new town hall was built in Assiniboia in the 1980s, forcing the relocation of the monument to its current location. At this time the soldier statue, which had been vandalized, was removed, and the image of a sword was etched into the front of the stele. The memorial is dedicated to the local war dead of the First and Second World Wars.

Cénotaphe d'Assiniboia
Ce mémorial avait été érigé en 1921 dans un emplacement différent. Sa construction originale comprenait la statue d’un soldat sur le socle de devant et les sculptures des gamelles étaient beaucoup plus décorées. La construction d’un nouvel Hôtel de ville à Assiniboia dans les années 1980 a forcé la relocalisation du monument. La statue du soldat, qui avait été vandalisée, a été enlevée et une épée a été gravée en avant de la stèle. Ce mémorial est dédié à tous ceux et celles qui ont perdu la vie lors des Première et Seconde Guerres mondiales.
