First McAdam Railway Station
The First McAdam Railway Station is a white single-storey rectangular gable roofed family home that was formerly the first railway station in McAdam. In 1900, it was moved to its present location on Granite Street in McAdam.
First McAdam Railway Station is designated a Local Historic place for its asssociation with the early railway history of McAdam. This was the first railway station in McAdam, built circa 1870 by the New Brunswick and Canada Railway and Land Company, formerly the St. Andrews and Quebec Railroad of 1835. It became a Canadian Pacific Railway Station around 1890 when the railway leased all of the trackage in its push to eastern Canada. It remained in operation until 1900 when it was sold to an employee, Mr. George Luff and moved to its present location to serve as the family home. Although much of the exterior has been changed over the years, the interior still retains some of the original railway station features.

La première gare ferroviaire de McAdam est désignée lieu patrimonial local pour son association avec le début de l’histoire ferroviare de McAdam. Cette gare, la première érigée à McAdam, a été construite vers 1870 par la société New Brunswick and Canada Railway and Land Company, autrefois la société St. Andrews and Quebec Railroad qui date de 1835. Elle est devenue la gare du chemin de fer Canadien Pacifique vers 1890 lorsque la Société a loué toutes ses voies ferrées dans sa lancée vers l’est du Canada. Elle a été exploitée jusqu’à 1900, date à laquelle elle a été vendue à un employé, monsieur George Luff, qui l’a transportée vers son emplacement actuel afin d’y aménager sa résidence familiale. Quoiqu’une grande partie de la façade extérieure ait été modifiée au fil du temps, l’intérieur conserve toujours quelques caractéristiques d’origine de la gare ferroviaire.
